With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to our cherished pet rabbit, Hazel, who filled our days with boundless joy and affection. Born September 2023, Hazel brought a ray of sunshine into our home from the moment those fluffy paws hopped into our lives. With her soft fur and twitching nose, she enchanted everyone she met, including our great dane dog, Tank. Hazel would jump right on him, but Tank would just look around wondering what had hit him, which always made us laugh.
We always knew when Hazel was extra happy because she would get the zoomies and run around the house doing "binky" jumps out of pure joy. She also loved her “snuffle mat”, and would forage around in the flowers that were part of it to find treats we hid for her. “Hazel-Basil” as we lovingly called her adored her cardboard camper hideout and even got in some time chewing on it, but her favorite thing to chew and eat was cilantro!We love you Hazel, and will never forget the memories of your playful antics and comforting cuddles. You will be deeply missed but always cherished. Rest in peace, dear friend.
