Klowie Dawn

Klowie Dawn Royal (Klover)

d. October 13, 2025

Born June 2008 in Tooele County

Klowie was 1 of 21 Dachshund puppies rescued from a puppy mill by Tooele Animal sanctuary. In late July fate stepped into Klowie’s life she was taken to Petsmart where her and all her brothers and sisters met lots of new people but none of them seemed to interest Klowie at all till 1 fun looking woman walked in, the min Klowie locked eyes with her she must have felt her excitement because she jumped up on the side of the playpen she was in begging the woman to pick her up. It was love at first sight. The woman had no intention on adopting a puppy that day but the minute Klowie put her nose tho her new mom’s nose she knew she couldn’t live without her. She found her forever mom that day and oh the adventures they had together. She seen the ocean and sea lions, water falls, met some horses and deer, even a moose and In true Dachshund fashion she naturally tried to protect her momma from all of them. Klowie’s all time favorite hobbies were cuddles, burrowing under as many blankets as she could find, she love playing in Autumn leaves, playing hungry hungry hippos with marshmallows and Cheerios, and playing moms co pilot on road trips or just to the store. She always looked forward to Thanksgiving cause she knew she would get her own special dinner, and it always meant the Christmas stockings and tree would soon follow. Yes she had her own stocking, that she knew would soon be full of treats and would check it regularly just in case they came early. Klowie loved to open all her own gifts. Her favorite one a squeaky hedgehog she always wanted with her. Klowie’s heart was so full of love more than anything she just wanted to be with her momma and the people she loved. She was a pampered princess throughout most her life. She hated the outdoors and looked at snow like it was fluffy poison and she wanted nothing to do with it. Many times when we would go camping I would take her to “The Dog Lodge” she made lots of friends there and I always knew she was in good hands they were always so happy to see her. Klowie had many Fur friends, Roxy Shiloh, Jupiter, Keiko, Orca, and many more.

In 2007 Julia (Klowie’s momma) was told she would never be able to carry a baby to term, so when she adopted Klowie, she fully intended on treating her like her own daughter she spoiled her as much as she possibly could and even though their lives were not always perfect she made sure Klowie had plenty of love and cuddles everyday to know she was loved. To say she is and will be missed is a huge understatement. She took a huge piece of her mom’s heart over that rainbow bridge with her and she won’t be the same till they are together again.

Klowie Dawn met up with her Brothers Shiloh and Keiko, her Human Grandmother, Grandfather, and Uncle on the rainbow bridge October 13, 2025 She passed away wrapped safe In her mommas arms.

“ I love you my sweet beautiful girl and I will not be the same till you are back in my arms’”
