Minnie Howell

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved furry friend Minnie the chinchilla. “Min-Min” was a rescue from the Humane Society after her previous owners cared enough to allow her to be adopted rather than face a very stressful move. She has been loved from the start.

Minnie was not just a pet; she was a cherished member of our family. With her soft, velvety grey-black fur and twinkling eyes, she captivated everyone she met. Her playful antics and sassy nature endeared her to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Whether it was watching her chew on her favorite bacon-and-egg-shaped loofas or the feel of her tiny feet as she would sit on our shoulders, she brought us immeasurable joy.

We will never forget Minnie’s play time in her running ball.  She would run straight at the wall and ram into it, only to reverse and repeat the pattern, only to hit the wall again. This didn’t seem to rattle Minne at all but made us laugh over and over.

Rest in peace, dear Minnie. Though you may no longer be by our side, you will be forever in our hearts!
