In Loving Memory of Rowdie

A faithful and beloved member of our family for 12 unforgettable years, Rowdie’s presence filled our home with boundless love and unwavering loyalty. He loved us all, but had a special bond with his owner Tereasa, and he rarely left her side.

Another love was his favorite minky blanket, in which he would find solace and reassurance. When on long car rides, he loved to sit between the driver and passenger seats atop of his blanket.  If the blanket was forgotten, he would anxiously place one paw on the driver’s arm and stare into their face as if to say, “Please drive safe, I don’t have my minky blanket.”

Rowdie’s playful spirit was infectious, and his zest for life was evident in every tail wag and joyful bark. He had a sweet tooth for small milk bones, and his eyes would light up with excitement when he was given this favorite treat.

Rowdie had a mischievous side, often hiding his toys under the bed as if he were hiding buried treasures. But it was his fierce side-to-side toy shaking that always made us laugh the hardest as he ran down the hall toward the bedroom and his precious toy hoard.

Although Rowdy may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will forever live on in our hearts and memories.  His legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire us each day.

Rest peacefully, dear Rowdie, knowing you were cherished beyond measure and will be deeply missed by all who knew you.
