You came to me, a soul so wise,

With gentle heart and sparkling eyes.

A fighter strong, yet soft and sweet,

With dancing steps and tiny feet.

You loved your toys, your brother too,

The sunlit spots you’d wander through.

You'd nudge my hand, you'd steal my bed,

And filled my days with joy instead.

Your bark was radiant, your kisses kind,

A deeper bond, I’ll never find.

You faced your pain with silent grace,

Still light and love lit up your face.

Now blankets rest where you once lay,
